A. Brown Consulting was established in 2014 by Ashley Brown. Ashley started this business on the basis of aspiring to be an entrepreneur. She grew up in Washington, DC and is currently still a resident. She also holds a bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Management as well as her MBA that she secured during Covid-19.

Before starting her own company she worked at a few Architectural firms as an Administrator and a Home Improvement company as a Project Coordinator. While working at the Architectural firm she was sent to The Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) one day with no background information or direction and given a simple instruction "file this application with DC Water". When she got there she was completely lost, but after a few trips she finally got it and figured out what this permit center is all about. Now that she has been processing construction documentation and business licensing for several years, she is unstoppable...
